Doug Whatley

Mr. Whatley has devoted his professional career to building Human Capital and Talent Management businesses that have focused on areas of HR Consulting, Recruiting, Career Coaching, and Organizational Development/Training. Through his career he has built a brand name with all manner of professionals, executives, technology experts, business and general employment and developed relationships across the spectrum of industries from Fortune 100 to small business and venture start-ups.

He started his career as a college student with Professional Career Associates eventually rising to General Manager and President. He expanded his knowledge base working as VP at INFOSYS Development cutting his teeth into technology and professional search. Then he dove into the realm of human resources as EVP of SP3 Group, an integrated HR consulting firm providing project management, training and recruiting. In addition to his personal consulting practice, P.I.P. Career Systems, Mr. Whatley has served on the board of several companies including ZillionHires, ActiveVendors, StaffMoms, and TalentOnCampus/Campus2Careers/IC2 Institute UT Austin.

As a known Subject Matter Expert, he has been published in newspapers, journals and industry newsletters as well as sought out for public speaking at industry events, luncheons, workshops and seminars. He holds a B.S. in Communications from the University of Texas and has extensive training in Entrepreneurship, Performance Quality, Relationship Building, Marketing/Branding, Career and Professional Development and Executive Coaching.
