Shannon Scott

Ms. Scott has been an account manager at RFG, Inc. for over four years. Her primary responsibility is the renewal and retention of her clients. She provides additional leadership to RFG in the form of fine-tuning and updating internal processes, acting as a liaison with UBA to carry out the health plan survey, and in managing our customer service team.

Prior to RFG, Ms. Scott worked for 10 years at Covantage, which was a wholly-owned subsidiary of PacifiCare Health Systems. She started at Covantage as a billing and eligibility specialist, became an account manager and managed the account management team the last 4 years. Covantage administered billing, eligibility and COBRA for large multi-state clients (1,000+ lives). Covantage also implemented customized enrollment websites.

Ms. Scott has a B.S. in marketing from Miami University (Ohio) and has a Masters Degree in healthcare administration from Texas State University. She has been the Awards Chairperson for Austin Association of Health Underwriters the last two years and is the incoming Secretary of AAHU for 2009 - 2010.
